Weekend in Seattle

We got word that Erica was going to be in Seattle for a wedding dress fitting.  And rather than send Dohnele and Emma's sizes for ordering and then wonder if we go the right size, we decided to just drive up for the weekend.  Since the visit was going to be quick, we splurged and got a fancy hotel downtown.  Before everyone converged on Nordstrom, we went exploring downtown by doing the touristy stuff, including the Space Needle.

Later in the afternoon, we met up with everyone and went over to Nordstrom.  All the girls did the dress thing while the guys took care of the twins (and drank a few beers and had some fries).  About the time the babies were really getting impatient, the dress fitting concluded.

We then proceeded to visit Grandma and Grandpa Newbill for a quick visit.  Then over to Don and Mary's for another quick visit and some pizza.  The next day we turned for home (after stopping in Portland for a quick visit to Josh and Hannah and IKEA).
