Mike and I took a day to more fully explore the West Fork Cow Creek Watershed for restoration purposes. We toured lower Bear Creek, upper Elk Valley Creek, upper Panther Creek, lower Bolivar Creek, the headwaters of West Fork Cow Creek, couldn't find a road into Gold Mountain Creek, and got scared out of lower Wilson Creek by squatters.
At the end of the day, at the top of the watershed we decided that we might as well just continue over the top and drop into Powers. In doing so, we drove down the South Fork Coquille River and stopped and snapped some photos of gorgeous waterfalls.
