This was the first Christmas, ever, when Dohnele couldn't join us in finding a Christmas tree. She was working. And if we waited for a day that everyone would be free, it would be like a week before Christmas. So the kids and me and the family of one of Emma's friends went up to Timber Creek where we each got really nice trees. It was cold (mid 20s), but at least it was clear and sunny and the kids had a blast.
