Don and Mary came down for a visit! We spent the better part of a week sampling wine and enjoying not being at work. At some point I found out that Don had never been to Crater Lake and it had been about 30 years since Mary had been. So we waited for the weather to improve. We got a few hour window and zipped up to the lake which was unfortunately fogged in for the majority of our time up there. But we did get about 20 minutes of decent views of the lake which was fun. Already a couple of feet of snow up there!
On the way to the lake we stopped at Natural Bridges to take a look at where the Rogue River funnels through old lava tubes.
