Looking for Landings

Part of the restoration work slated for this summer will require the use of a helicopter.  For the helicopter to operate, landing zones need to be picked out.  These landings will be where the helicopter lands, where logs will be staged, and where a fuel truck and chase crew will set up shop.  The contractor was going to show up for a field tour so I did some homework on the weekend to find potential suitable landing sites.  It was pouring down rain and super windy and Zephyr got carsick, but still fun.  We had a picnic in the car.

Beautiful vista...would be fun to see all of the action transpire...Zephyr would love it too. Glad the "car picnic" turned out ok!
