It was windy on the beach, but we found a nice spot just over the first dunes where it was sandy and HOT! The kids loved it and found a ton of shells and polished rocks to bring home.

Day Trip to the Coast
Actually had a break in the work so I took advantage of it by piling the kids in the car and zipping over to the Coast for the day. We stopped at Taylor's Sausage and fortunately nobody got carsick in the Smith River Canyon.
It was windy on the beach, but we found a nice spot just over the first dunes where it was sandy and HOT! The kids loved it and found a ton of shells and polished rocks to bring home.
