Memorial Day Weekend: looking for agates

Terry and her kids came down for a visit.  Dohnele and her went out to dinner while I stayed home and watched the kiddos.

The next day we went to the usual area (Indian Creek Fire Break Trail) to go hiking and looking for agates.  Unfortunately, the winter was so dry that hardly any erosion had happened and very few new agates were exposed.  It was also super hot, so we spent most of the hike hopping from tree shadow to tree shadow.  Lunch and ice cream at Phil's Frosty was good, though!
