At the Wetlands

Hosted a field tour at the West Eugene Wetlands as I am trying to drum up restoration project support and funding.  Summer work is small and easy - on purpose - to get people excited to do bigger work including creating ten acres of pond habitat for western pond turtles.

We also zipped down to southern Oregon for a weekend because Zoë had her annual eye checkup and so we spent the evening with Dohn and did some shopping at Cartwright's to stock up on some decent meat since we haven't found a good butcher shop in Salem.
