My hydrologist in the Cascades Field Office, Peter, broke his ankle which put him in the position of going from "on schedule" to "way behind schedule" on his stream surveys.  So we quickly arranged for a handful of hydrologic technicians to do some survey work for us.  As long as they're properly trained, they can be quite useful - ha!

What do you think?  Is this a) a stream, b) a wetland, or c) an ephemeral water feature fed by stormwater only?
