Sandy River

My two Wild & Scenic River colleagues and I went to the Sandy River to do some exploring today.  Nobody is really sure how, but there's a regional park near Portland, on BLM land, not managed by the BLM.  I'm sure it's all good, but nobody seems to know how we ended up in this deferred management situation.  Regardless, one of our Wild & Scenic Rivers - Sandy River - flows through the area and so we went to check it out.  It was also a good opportunity to do a test run on for our upcoming Wild & Scenic River monitoring contract that starts in a few weeks.

So anyway, we showed up and walked through lots of "what if" scenarios and saw a really beautiful river!
