Had our first face-to-face, in-person meeting, albeit outside, in over two years with the other colleagues in my Division. We went to the summit of Marys Peak which is jointly managed by the BLM and USFS and hiked the short ways to the summit before coming off the summit and having our meeting.
Marys Peak is the tallest mountain in the Coast Range and the view is surprisingly good. Even though it was cloudy, we were still able to see Mount Rainier, Mount Adams, Mount Hood, Mount Jefferson, the Three Sisters, Mount Bachelor, and Diamond Peak! And even though it was cloudy, several of us got a bit sunburned by the end of the day.
