Finally got our new District Manager out to the woods to show him some of what the Aquatics Program was all about. Took him to Lobster Creek to discuss monitoring and Wild & Scenic Rivers. Then took him to Mill Creek where active stream restoration had happened only a few months prior.
I also hosted and attended a meeting in Newport at the Yaquina Head Lighthouse that the BLM manages. I got a tour given to the attendees of the meeting around lunchtime and the views were spectacular in between squalls.
