Springtime is waterfall time and McDowell Creek Park has been on my list for a while with its trails, boardwalks, bridges, and several waterfalls.  Gathered up the twins and their friends after visiting the Farmer's Market and drove down to the Lebanon area.

Definitely misjudged how long the trail was in relation to the sites, but the hike was still nice to do even if all the highlights were right at the trailhead.  Lots of spring wildflowers just starting to bloom too.  Oh!  And that spring sunshine and warmth just feels soooo good!

The first waterfall we came to was Royal Terrace Falls on Fall Creek.  The trail went up from there and then across the hillslope before dropping all the way down to Majestic Falls on McDowell Creek.  After that, the trail followed McDowell Creek back to the parking lot.
