Rafting the Rogue

What a great weekend!  Wes and Sandy stopped on their way up to Salem for an overnighter and it was really great to catch up.  Zephyr especially enjoyed their visit, because they brought their dog and Zephyr was completely obsessed.  Zephyr followed Sid around everywhere and gave lots of pets and kisses.

The day that Wes and Sandy left was the day that Josh and Hannah arrived.  They spent the weekend with us and while Dohnele made amazing food for us, Emma and I took them rafting down a section of the Rogue River between Lost Creek Reservoir and Shady Cove.  Great time!  It was pretty much a perfect day for rafting: clear and 100+ degrees.  We had a nice picnic on a small gravel bar, got into a lot of water fights, and enjoyed getting soaked as much as possible!

Glad you had such a fun trip and that Emma was able to share the fun with her Uncle Josh and his wife!
