Dothan Falls

Basically all of October was people visiting us.  For a week in early October, Aunt Barbara and Uncle Fronty visited.  And for the last couple weeks of October, mom and dad visited.  It's always nice to have visitors and we saw a ton of really neat sites.  But they took all the pictures, so I won't bother re-posting them here.

Now that we're back to normal and winter rains have set in which means so have winter colds.  It's been nearly constant.  For all of us.  Not cool.  But the kids have been trying to make the most of school despite a few sick days.

Dohnele's work is going well although it's tiring to work full time for only three days which usually just means long shifts.  But the extra money is much needed.

My work has been equally busy and usually finds me working full time through the week and often on the weekends as well.  Right now I've got several pots in the fire including a timber sale, a mining project, and several District programmatic projects.

The other day I managed to get to the field with a handful of folks to help me measure Dothan Falls on West Fork Cow Creek.  We needed to measure the height of the falls, the velocity going over the falls, and then just for giggles, the overall stream discharge.
