In what should be the last field work for the Gold Sardine Timber Sale, I buffered the final timber unit containing sensitive soils. This particular timber unit had a hillslope of gravelly soils with evidence of soil creep and had very little to no organic layer holding it all together. So I buffered it out. No sense losing root strength. The picture above is me in the fading daylight and my flagging designating the area to stay out of. The picture below is of a sunset over Wards Creek
