It was a beautiful weekend and I wanted to get out of the hot valley and hit the coast. Dohnele had to work so I tossed the kids in the car and headed west. Unfortunately, halfway there, a car accident had stalled traffic. We sat in the car, in bumper-to-bumper traffic for well over an hour, in 100 degree temps. Ugh. Buuuut, we eventually got to the coast and it was lovely. So refreshing.
And here's a quick picture of a meeting in the woods that I hosted with both BLM and NRCS soil scientists. We were in the Table Rock Wilderness Area.
