Spent the day surveying alluvial fans around Hult Pond verifying whether or not they had wetland soil indicators present. The day was a mixed bag: sunshine, wind, rain, hail. Found an old logging road to walk on for a bit of the day which was a bonus. Didn't get to hike around the entire lake because the slopes got too steep and brushy. But I was able to verify that at least one large alluvial fan contained wetland soils.

Nice day for exploration...so one fan had wetland soils...I'm assuming that is a good indicator.
