Sunny Day in The Molalla

Wes got back from being overseas for work all summer so I tried to get him and Jake together for a day in the woods; Jake backed out at the last minute, but I got Wes and took him up The Molalla River to see the Beachie Creek Fire damage (and salvage).  Got to spend some quality time in a folding chair, on a landing, overlooking Copper Creek, Poopanelly Creek, and the Molalla River while drinking a beer on what turned out to be one of the last nice days of the summer.  The watershed has really been hammered by past logging, roads, wildfire, and now timber salvage, but nonetheless, it's still remarkably beautiful.
