Spent today on Mill Creek in the Marys Peak Field Office where there is a really "typical," but essential stream restoration project going on. The stream is a bit higher gradient so no riparian of floodplain work was being done, but there is some stream sinuosity and even a few places where the channel splits around islands, so my staff are placing Large Woody Debris using an excavator with the assistance of a watershed council.
