The drive up was uneventful and, as expected, the number of cars parked on the side of the road at the State Park was extensive, but we found a place that wasn't too bad and headed off. The people thinned out pretty quickly and the flowers were plentiful and gorgeous. Unfortunately, almost immediately into the hike Zephyr announced that he had to go to the bathroom and holding it was only getting us so far.
Rather than doing the whole loop, we just got to the top of Marsh Hill and snapped some pictures of Mount Hood. We saw Mount Adams too, but it was mostly obscured by clouds, coming and going. We got back down to Mosier and found a bathroom for Zephyr, fortunately. Then we drove to Portland and landed at Bark City BBQ where we feasted before heading home!
