Today we kept a bit closer to home. I took mom to see Dohnele at The Cozy Taberna for lunch and afterwards, we headed up to Silver Falls. It started to sprinkle just as we parked. I had wanted to take her to lower North Falls, but the the trail to it was still closed from winter damage so we hiked upriver instead to upper North Falls. By this time, it was raining in earnest, but I had an umbrella for mom and the rain seemed to scare people away from the trail and falls which was nice.
After the hike, I took her to see the Gordon House, deigned by Frank Lloyd Wright. It was a quick visit since it was pouring down rain at this point.
