Got an opportunity to go cut a bunch of willows near the Bull Run School at PGE Park. Took those willows up the valley to the Wildwood Recreation Site where we dropped them in a creek to be planted later in the spring. Also stopped off at Menzinger Bench on the Sandy River to discuss future restoration projects.
Later in the week, I headed down to the Whittaker Creek Recreation Site to check out the drinking water supply system.

Nice photos. Nice to see a picture of your former roommate and nice for him to visit the family. Interesting about the willows...so you literally are doing what Dad does...cut willows, try to root and re-plant?
