We zipped up to Portland on Dohnele's day off and toured the lovely Japanese Garden. It was kind of a last minute thing and we didn't know what to expect. As it turned out, we got there kind of close to closing time and weren't able to really go slow and soak it all up, but we still had enough time to see everything.
The girls loved the koi and Zephyr loved the little zen children statues all over the place.

Really lovely gardens...I can feel the "quiet!"...only thing stirring the ambience...three little Parkers!!
