Fishing the Molalla River Corridor

Spent the day with the family and Cory on the Molalla River.  We packed up food, drinks, chairs, fishing poles, swim gear, and bikes and drove all the way up to the Table Rock Wilderness Boundary where we caught a few small steelhead and let the kids reel them in.  The kids went swimming and biking.

After about half the day had gone, Dohnele and Cory drove down and out while the kids and I rode out bikes about ten miles down the road system.  We briefly stopped to do some more fishing and then headed home.  No big fish, but still lots of fun.

Also took a few selfies of myself once back to work.  Here I am walking the location of some proposed road construction in a proposed timber unit east of Springfield.

Exquisite area to fish!! Glad you caught a few...let the kids reel in. Must have been real fun riding your bikes too!
See you are still liking the "railroad" shirts and obviously "wielding a mean machete!"
