Had some friends in town for the weekend and sat them up on a hike to Silver Falls while I cooked a feast. Then the next day, me, the kids, and them, wandered around Salem and went to a few fun places like the Capital, a winery, a bookstore, and a coffee shop. I had never been to Cherry Hill Winery and they had never been wine tasting before and the experience was fantastic! Weather was perfect, the setting was beautiful, we just about had the place to ourselves, and the winemaker was serving the wine!
After dinner we took everyone to The Yard and hit up the food trucks for dinner! Zephyr got fried chicken and onion rings - the chicken is his absolute favorite food ever!
