Sunny January Biking

Sunshine in January got me all excited to go biking.  Even the kids didn't protest as much as I thought they would.  Unfortunately, they didn't heed my warning about it not exactly being warm out.  In the sun was OK, but it was kinda breezy and the twins wore shorts!  The ride was great; we started at Wallace Marine Park, rode through Minto-Brown Park, and all the way down to Eola Bend Park.  Everything was going well, but the trail was a bit muddy in places and Zoe ended up pushing her bike a bit and Zephyr crashed once.  Other than that though...

We've actually been swimming here a couple times in the summer (above)!

There are a few pieces of trail that flood each winter that get super muddy.  Zoe wasn't happy about it (above).

We also got to try a new-to-us Thai restaurant in Salem on Dohnele's day off which was super tasty!
