After enjoying some Aggie Ice Cream, we drove around Logan to reminisce. We ended up overlooking Cache Valley at the mouth of Dry Canyon. We hadn't planned on ending up here, but it was really fun, because Dohnele and I used to hike here a fair bit. So it was fun to show the kids the view and the canyon.
The kids wanted to keep hiking, but we knew we had to get to Ogden sooner than later. Unfortunately, although the weather was spectacular in Logan, it was starting to rain in Ogden. Nonetheless, we checked in with Phil and Sarah and spent the rest of the day chatting with them while our kids played.
