This day was supposed to be a bit more low-key and family-oriented. We drove up to - and past - Hurricane Ridge. I had wanted to take everyone on a relatively benign hike to Hurricane Hill. But that wasn't in the cards. Zoë was the first to drop out and Dohnele went back to the car with her. Then Zephyr dropped out and Emma went back to the car with him. Which left Cory and me to make the final push to the top of the hill.
It was a good hike and view because when we left Port Angeles, it was actually foggy and rainy. But by the time we got to the trailhead, we were above the clouds and the views were stunning. But by the end of the hike, the fog was blowing in and the temperature was dropping.
At the end of the hike we went back to Port Angeles for pizza and beer.
