Got Dohnele out on the Willamette River so she could get some paddleboarding in on her birthday. I sat on shore as per the usual 😂 She paddled upriver until she got tired of fighting the current and then coasted downriver to where I was waiting with the car.
I spent the first part of the day on the Molalla River with Cory establishing baseline conditions of the Beachie Creek Fire. We assessed stream substrate and macroinvertebrates.
