Fort Casey

Cruised up to visit with Victor and Meta for Labor Day Weekend.  We hadn't been anywhere north of Seattle for quite a few years and it was fun to explore a bit.  On the first day, while Victor worked, Meta went with us over to Whidbey Island and we drove through the whole thing and stopped off at Fort Casey which was really neat to walk around.  Several of the 10-inch disappearing-mounted guns were still present and most of the bunkers were cleaned up and open to walk through.  Everyone had a good time there.

On the way home, rather than retrace our steps, I opted for taking the Clinton-Mukilteo Ferry to give the kids something else to be excited about.  It was short, but still fun.
