On the second day of our visit to Victor and Meta, we unfortunately spent most of the day trying to figure out how to get a Covid Test for Dohnele who was exposed at work several days prior. She found out that morning when the employee's test results came back positive. But that put us in a bind, because we were guests at someone else's house. Ugh. How embarassing. Fortunately, everyone (except the twins) were vaccinated. But needless to say, we didn't get to do much of anything fun during the day. However, that evening, after Dohnele got her test, we went to the Skagit Speedway to watch stock car races which despite the near-complete lack of masks and social distancing, was actually fun to watch.
Oh! And Emma learned how to play cribbage during this trip: Victor taught her how and she's actually gotten pretty good at it!
