I'd been trying to get folks to go with me to Lord Huron in either Eugene or Portland and I kept striking out. I really enjoy the band, but nobody else shared my sentiments. Fortunately, I finally got lucky with interest from Josh and Hannah. They bought the concert tickets and I bought dinner and cocktails at The Rum Club in Portland. It was a really good concert - exceeded my expectations!
Also, we got to try out Dohnele's Mother's Day present for the first time: she'd been hinting and hinting about wanting a Solo Stove and I finally acquiesced. I'll admit, it's pretty fun!

Glad your "night on the town" concert turned out! Looks fun. As does the solo stove...I need to look up your rosemary, bluecheese potatoes!
