Had a cool moment the other day when I discovered that Neil Degrasse Tyson was coming to speak in Portland and I asked the kids who wanted to go; Emma and Zoë both wanted to go. His talk was on "Cosmic Perspective" so even though the topic was pretty weighty, it was light enough for all ages. Anyway, it was a fun trip to take with the girls and the perspective he shared over the course of a couple hours was really fantastic! Definitely recommend going to listen if he comes to a town near you!
