These gorgeous flowers were all over the place (above) including at the Pacific Beach Boardwalk (below)
From there, we drove up the coast to Windansea Beach which was mostly just for photo-ops. And it was very picturesque, although some sunshine would have made it better.

From there, we drove up to La Jolla. The sea lions on the beach were amazing, but the stink of the nesting birds was awful and the people posing right next to the sea lions were painful to watch. But Zephyr thoroughly enjoyed.

After that, we headed to Ocean Beach because we wanted to go check out their Farmer's Market. This was the highlight of the day! Not only did I score an amazing parking spot, but the market was packed and extensive. So many fun booths and so much fresh produce and so much great food! The kids got Dubai chocolate and Emma got grilled oysters.

The rest of us were still hungry and so we went to Oscar's Mexican Seafood for their renown tacos. It's true: they were unique and so tasty!
The grilled octopus tacos were my fave!
