Oregon State University Tour

Sunrise drive between Salem and Corvallis.  This is just south of Independence.

Emma signed up for another tour at Oregon State University in an attempt to get a better experience: recall that when we went last time it was during spring break, no students were around, and the campus and town were covered in freezing ice fog.  Not great.  Today was much better, because there were students attending class, the tours covered much more.  There were also more students on the various tours because officially it was "Beaver Open House" meant for potential students to interact with brand new, first year students who had just started college.  It was a surprisingly good interaction which culminated on the Day on the Quad where students displayed and signed up for clubs and activities.
Emma ate so much for lunch that she had to lay down instead of attending a presentation after lunch

In other news, here's a couple random pictures from other events.  Emma is house/catsitting.  Zoe and I took her to do her job and we waited outside.  Zoe reeeeeally wanted to go inside and pet the cats, but Emma wouldn't let her.  Also, I took the girls out to breakfast at Sybil's.  It's nothing fancy, but is so satisfying and the service is excellent.

So glad you all were able re-visit the Oregon State Univiersity campus...especially on a day that was so beautiful...and students actively attending classes. Fun pictures of the girls!
