Wine Tasting and an Eclipse

Dohnele had to go to another winery to do some research so naturally I tagged along.  The weather was dreary, but it's always nice to sit inside and sip wine - especially when all the tasting fees get "comp'd" because Dohnele is "industry!"

In other news, I had re-created a dish I saw when Emma and I were in Corvallis called "togarashi tots."  Basically it's baked tots, nori squares, furikake seasoning, and topped with a poached egg.  Gross looking, but so satisfying.

And then finally, we got to experience an annular eclipse!  It was overcast and only Emma got a decent picture from the event (below).  Oh!  And we also brought in the final tomato harvest!  Really great crop this year.
