The last time mom was in town, I took her to Silver Falls kind of on the way to the airport to drop her off and unfortunately we ran out of time before we could really get to any waterfalls and had to turn back. So this time around I set aside an entire day and we battled the hoards of people at the North Falls Trailhead. Once we got parked, the hike down was beautiful and not too crowded. And the waterfall never ceases to impress.
At the end of the day, Zoe just craves having grandma deal with her hair so she got the royal treatment!

Quite spectacular....those falls!! Glad I was barely able to remember the French braiding technique...whew!
