One day after work, I threw everyone in the car and we zipped down to Corvallis because I wanted Emma to show grandma the campus. It was a perfect evening. School had just wrapped up and students were moving out of dorms. It was right at sunset, it was warm, but with a cool breeze. Even though it was like 9 o'clock at night, people were everywhere on campus. It was just a really nice, nostalgic feeling. The highlight of the Emma-led tour was the Memorial Union Building. Even though Emma was embarrassed by it, I took them right to the center of the building, pulled up chairs, and we sat for a bit!

That was such a wonderful evening excursion...with a dash...literally an elk dash at the end!
